Removing Cache from a Pool

Featured Replies

Good day!

Im just wondering I have 3 SSD's in my cache right now.

Cache 1: 500GB

Cache 2: 1TB

Cache 3: 1TB

Can I just remove the 500gb and switch the cache 3 to the cache 1 slot?

Thanks,

Karl

@johnnie.blackthanks so much for the fast reply! How do I know if the cache is doing something like making copy of cache1 & cache2 to cache3? Because I just recently added the cache3, and im not sure if its finished already.

Thanks,

Karl

It won't allow you to stop the array if a btrfs operation is still ongoing.

Assuming you're using a recent release.
