May 16, 20197 yr I'm tinkering with a new controller, as I can't get my LSI stable. From what I see this one is dieing or am I wrong? Anything I could/should try before returning it? knowlage-diagnostics-20190516-1711.zip
May 16, 20197 yr Community Expert Not dying, those errors are typical of controllers with port multipliers, that controller in reality is just a 2 port Asmedia controller with two SATA port multipliers.
May 16, 20197 yr Author Will it work?... I'm having trouble to run anything related to the cache right now. VM's, Dockers, etc....

May 16, 20197 yr Author I see... any Suggestions? The LSI 2008 won't run stable in my machine (I tried several Cards). The most sable controller I had, was a Marvell Chip with multipliers. What else can I try? Maybe something with a Microsemi Chip? Or Marvell 88SE9485? Or PMC? Edited May 16, 20197 yr by Jaster
May 16, 20197 yr Community Expert You could try a 2308 or 3008 LSI chipset based controller, e.g, 9207, 9300, probably best to go for the 9300 since the 9207(SAS2308) is very similar to the 2008.
