Windows 10 Gaming VM Crashing System

Featured Replies

I have been experiencing issues with my windows gaming vm crashing my entire unraid server. I created a windows 10 vm with gpu passthrough using Spaceinvader One's tutorial. However, everytime I play a game for some length of time (borderlands 1 is within minutes, borderlands 2 took ~30 min), my entire server crashes (I think) and I am unable to access it (however its still on?). I am running pfsense so it is possible that it is crashing when the windows vm crashes, leaving me unable to access it. I will troubleshoot to confirm/deny my theory.

I have confirmed that it is not pfSense. It is a result of gaming on the windows vm. I will try to play the same games on Pop! OS and see if it is a hardware issue, or if it is windows being weird.
