Koshy
I got the Error [irq 16: nobody cared found on your server] after a "Fix Common Problems" scan. Any help would be appreciated. I am on the latest Bios [Version F14 - 2019-03-26] for my motherboard [Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming (rev. 1.0) - Gigabyte] and I have attracted the Diagnostics below. tower-diagnostics-20190520-0842.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
In this case it souldn't cause any issues, safe to ignore, though a bios update might help. Quote Link to comment

My VMs stutter when I have drives mounted via unassigned devices could it be because of this? Edited May 20, 2019 by Koshy Quote Link to comment

How do I test this? I have run the VM just after reboots and the stuttering still happens, does this mean my issue is something else. I don't really know what "irq 16: nobody cared" means. From the "testing" I have done, if I have any drive mounted via unassigned devices the VM stutters, the moment I unmount it, the stuttering goes away. Quote Link to comment

You can check the log, for example on the diags you posted the array started at around 00:45 and the IRQ got disabled at around 01:05 May 20 01:04:56 Tower kernel: irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option) So if the VMs are stuttering before this happens again it's not the IRQ. 1 Quote Link to comment
