nickro8303
Have one disk that unRAID is saying has read errors on it. I ran an extended SMART test and it found no errors on that drive. I have a spare drive ready to go, should I just replace the drive just in case it's going bad or is there something else I should be looking for here? tower-diagnostics-20190524-1109.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It was a disk problem, though it might be an intermittent error, it could be OK for some time, it could fail again next week, difficult to predict, it passed the extend test but it failed in the past. P.S. The cache SSD desperately needs a new SATA cable. Quote Link to comment
nickro8303
Will probably replace it just to be on the safe side since I have a spare ready to go. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment

nickro8303
Not sure if I should start another thread but I replaced the disk and started the data rebuild process but it's going unusually slow. I'm also hearing a clicking noise from one of the drives not sure which one though. The sys log is showing a looping error which I'm not sure how to decipher. Any ideas what is going on here? tower-diagnostics-20190525-2038.zip Quote Link to comment
nickro8303
Well I got impatient and rebooted and it seems to have resolved the issue. I found another forum post regarding this issue and the guy said it was his power supply not sure if that could be it or not. tower-diagnostics-20190525-2159.zip Quote Link to comment
