May 24, 20197 yr So I have a brand new hard drive at the advice of people in this forum due to disk errors and fortunately that has reduced disk errors. However now I am having another issues. So I've been using this server for about a month and some change now with the new disk as my Plex server and I have recordings that I would like to back up. My first problem is that the speed to move the file from server to disk is EXTREMELY slow. Roughly 1 Mbps. Then the other issue is now the share seems to be disappearing. One moment the disk is mounted the next it is not mounted. I stop and start the array again and it's mounted for a few seconds then the share disappears however it is still mounted. I really do not understand what is going on.

May 24, 20197 yr Author What in the effing fudge is going on!!!! Now UNRAID doesn't see this disk AT ALL!!!!!! It's acting like it doesn't exist anymore. I can't even format it. This is a BRAND NEW hard drive and UNRAID doesn't see it!!!!!
May 25, 20197 yr Author Guys I've posted diagnostics. What in the world is going on and how do I fix it. I've lost 2TB of data or at least it's saying it is "unmountable" and I have no idea why?
May 25, 20197 yr Community Expert Disk1 is failing but since you don't have parity you can't do a standard replacement. You can try ddrescue.
May 25, 20197 yr Author I lost the drive. I am pissed. I realized though that my PSU was giving out and at times it wasn't supplying the hard drive with enough power and that is why UNRAID was unable to see the drive. But now after reformatting it I am seeing errors on the disk. It's a small amount but I am not sure if I should be concerned or if I can even fix these errors.
