May 25, 20197 yr Hey gang, Just added 4 recently acquired used 4TB Hitachi SAS drives. Connected them to a working Unraid 6.7.0 system (all on the same SAS cable) and it seems there is an issue with two of the drives. Two are reporting 0 B size. I'm not versed at all on reading a Smart report. Are these drives DOA or is there something else I should check? May 25, 20197 yr Community Expert Since no one else has jumped in, have a look at this thread: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/75253-new-lab-build-cant-see-sas-drives/ I found this thread by googling Unraid SAS drives because Google does a better job of searching this forum than the forum's search engine. By the way, most of the Guru's prefer that you submit the Diagnostic file (which will contain the SMART reports) because they contain so much more information about what your system is actually seeing (and doing) when it tries to access these disks.
