How to set static IP for dockers

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to get PiHole running as per Spaceinvader One's video but in network type, I don't have the option to set a static IP I only get the bridge and host options. I've tried searching the forums and making a couple of the changes that I have seen in other threads but the solution still escapes me. I'm sure it's something simple that I am just completely missing.

Thanks in advance :)

You need to change the "network type" of the container to a custom network (Custom: br0 in your case).

You can set both an IPv4 and IPv6 address (if used) as fixed address for Pihole.

In addition: under Docker settings you need to enable br0 as custom network

Thanks, maybe I'm blind but where do I find this option?
