May 26, 20197 yr Hi there So a while back i used Unraid to set up the 2 gamers 1 pc. Specs - i9- 9900k, 2x 1080TI and 32 GB of ram. So now i have VM 1 - Player One and VM 2 - Player 2, both windows 10, with same configs. Cpu pinning is set like this: Player 1 = 1 , 9 - 3 , 11 - 5 , 13. Player 2 = 2 , 10 - 4 , 12 - 6 , 14. The two last cores and HT is: 0 , 8 and 7 , 15 for the unraid. I have also set CPU isolation for the player 1 and player 2 cores. Ram = 12288mb per pc. Unraid version - 6.7.0 Problem is that when I first set this up (using a gigabyte motherboard) I had to set PCI ACS Override to get the correct IOMMU groups for my graphics cards. That worked well, they have their own group and the first 3-4 times is booted up my VM's, both player 1 (PCI 01:00) and player 2 (PCI 02:00) had superb performance - 144hz 1920x1080 and it went smooth. But now my player 2 PC still works like a charm, but player 1 has become laggy. Now looking at taskmanager, the gpu load spikes from 10% to 100% just by moving a folder window. Cpu load looks to be about the same for both VM's, but gpu on player one have "desktop windows manager" as the big GPU performance hog, spiking from 10% to 30 -50 - 70 and 95% just based on what i move on the screen. Even the mouse feels laggy from time to time. Any ideas? For now i have -> updated windows 10 to 1809, and have just installed latest nvidia drivers. Tested also to set "dmw.exe" from high priority to normal with no sucess. Set power state to high performance, still no luck. Cheers guys Edited May 26, 20197 yr by Dizato
