Can boot only in GUI mode and not all times

Featured Replies

After 6.7.0 update and several reboots, can't boot normal. It hangs 5-7 times before normal boot, and if I chose boot to GUI it boots almost every time and work ok!

Tried to update to 6.7.1rc1 - no change. Connected external screen - but it is small and I can't exactly see when it hangs...

Attached screen and diagnostics

Look at that Picture.  Do you see the warning about it not be able to open a file location?  Run the following command from the Command line:

ls -al /lib/modules/4.19.41-Unraid

If you don't get a file listing, you either have a memory problem or one of the bz* files in the root of your flash drive is corrupted.

I would start by manually downloading the latest version of Unraid from LimeTech.  Unzip the file.  Copy all of the bz* files to the root of the flash drive.  Then see if it will boot.  If that does not work, try a 24 hour memtst (a boot option).

Problem was with BIOS settings and wake on lan, somehow DHCP didn't provide IP for Unraid with this settings

When reset BIOS setting to default - it boots every time normal
