New User - Create VMs

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I have a unRAID server hosted locally and I need to give access to one of my friends to it in order to create VM's.

My question is, do yo know if it's possible to create a user that has acces to the GUI in order to create new VM's?

Thanks

Only root has access to the Unraid webUI.

Hey trurl,

Thanks for your prompt response.

Is there any other way to give acces to anybody else to create VM's?

Thanks.

Hi Răzvan Zeceș as @trurl informed you it is only root, no one else that have access to webui. The same goes for SSH.

Do you really mean you want users to be able to create VM or merely use already created ones?   If users can create VMs they certainly have room to mess up the whole server if they get things wrong.
