System won't start after shutdown

Featured Replies

I am building a new unraid server with the following configuration for twin GPU passthrough:

AMD Threadripper 1950X

Gigabyte X399 Auros Extreme

32 GB ECC Ram

2 X ADATA NVME SSD

3X 1TB hard drive

1 X Asus Geforce 750

1 X Geforce 9800 GTX+

I just put a new installation of unraid 6.7 in a crucial flash drive and enabled UEFI mode boot.

When I shutdown or reboot the server using the unraid interface, the system beeps twice and then shuts down cleanly. It then gets stuck at the BIOS screen and dosen't beep or go forward. I have to power off the system remove the flash drive then turn the server back on. The server goes through a power cycle and then turn on.

I have another question. Is there any way to format the nvme drive in the array with GPT instead of MBR aligned

Try another USB port, preferably USB2.
