(Solved) Docker service failed to start

Featured Replies

Hey all, I just got home today and realised that my docker service does not start for my unraid server. I recently (2 days ago) updated from 6.4 to 6.7 and everything seemed to go fine.

Server logs show:

I have also attached my diagnostics, hope someone is able to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Looks like you have corrupted libvirt image, corrupted docker image, and corrupted cache filesystem.

Your docker image size is set to 30G, which is larger than should be necessary. Have you had a problem filling docker image? Making it larger will not fix that problem, it will only make it take longer to fill.

Doesn't look like your small cache is used for anything except dockers and VMs. Do you actually run any VMs?

If no VMs the simplest way forward would be to just reformat cache, recreate your docker image (only 20G should be needed), and reinstall your dockers using the Previous Apps feature on the Apps page.

I see nope. I have no VMs. I think my docker.img was 30gb because it used to fill up with logs very quickly.

Should I be concerned if my Previous Apps tab does not sure any of my previous docker apps?

What's in /config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user on the flash drive?

Any docker currently installed does not show up as a Previous App.

Thanks for the help everyone. I formatted my cache drive and was able to restore all my docker apps. Nothing was showing up in previous apps because the docker service was down.
