June 2, 20197 yr I was using version 6.6.7 and was able to see my shared hard drives on my Windows 10 Home 1803. I upgraded to 6.7.0 and couldn't see my shared drives. I then went back to 6.6.7 and am unable to see my shared drives. I am able to see the shared drives on my cell phone over wifi though. Can someone tell me whats going on? tower-syslog-20190601-1904.zip
June 2, 20197 yr Community Expert You are not alone. Win10 SMB has been a minefield from the start. I would suggest that you start with this thread at its very end and work your way back until you get it to work again. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/53172-windows-issues-with-unraid/ One important thing with any Windows version SMB is setting up your server to be the Local Master. You can find instructions on how to do that in the first post of the above thread. Samba is a kludge from the Windows for Workgroups when it was introduce to connect together two to (perhaps) a dozen computers in a closed network for a small organization. I think you can still connect up one of those old computers up to a modern SMB network and it would function!
