One Empty Share Drive All Others 100%

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a problem in which all of my drivers are full including my cash except one drive. That drive is completely empty and isn’t filling up despite being part of the share.  I noticed that that drive is somehow assigned as a disk share.

I suspect that this is why it’s not filling up, But I am not sure.  I can’t seem to figure out how to remove it as a disk share because I don’t use them and recall how or why  I set it up as such.

Could someone give me a pointer on how to remove it as a disk share or remove the drive from the array entirely if that will solve the problem and then maybe re-insert it I am struggling here.

Check that the drive is included in user shares (Settings - Global Share Settings)

Not sure I understand this?    You cannot have just one drive set up a disk share - it is an all o nothing state.   I suspect that you may mean you have a share showing under User Shares with a name of the form 'diskX'?   If so that means that you have a directory of that name on at least one of your drives.

Well Squid’s suggestion solved the issue. The drive wasn’t listed as included.

thank you.

thank you.

Might want to run unBalance to redistribute the data over the drives.  Not essential but it helps.
