i have bought this card I’m trying to add it to my h370 motherboard but it does not show in network settings, I’m trying to run a pfsense vm using spaceinvader one tutorial 

Those NICs are known to not be detected on most non PCIe 1.0 slots.

Is there anything I can do or do I need to get a different card 

It might work if the bios has an option to change the PCIe link speed to 1.0, if not probably only a new NIC, like the I350-T4.

If buy a i350-t4 and it’s counterfeit will it still work. I have read a lot about counterfeit i350 but nothing about if they work or not?
