Fiservedpi Posted June 4, 2019 Share Posted June 4, 2019 (edited) so today i decided from research in the forums id try to change my vm type to Q35 instead of i440fx, previously it was running just fine had display stutter which is what i was trying to fix after i realized Q35 wasnt going to help i tried to change back to i1440fx but now im getting this error XML error: The PCI controller with index='0' must be model='pci-root' for this machine type, but model='pcie-root' even though i did not edit the xml (on previous occasion session have added sound adapter and gpu lines previously) or any other settings just the machine type question is can i get back to working state?
