VM causes Host to freeze on 6.7.0

I recently upgraded to 6.7.0 from 6.6.7, now upon starting any VM with my NIC passed though the host locks. Downgraded back to 6.6.7 and the problem was resolved. Fast forward 2 weeks I decide to give it another whirl. That broke it. VM was left on autostart and would freeze the host every time the array would start. So I thought it would be a better idea to upgrade my old USB drive and write 6.7.0 to it. Copied config back for the drives and dockers, got all that running, did the kernel /bzimage
append vfio-pci.ids=8086:105e initrd=/bzroot to the flash, created a NEW vm and experienced the same HOST freezes immediately of the VM starting to load. Internet and forums haven't landed me an answer!
