msava
I have network cameras that I would like to have record to my server instead of having a standalone NVR.... My cameras have an option for NAS data storage and I have a share set up for it already. My camera can see the share I have setup but the problem is, the cameras needs to format the disk to allow it to record there. If I were to do that in it's current setup, I would effectively format my whole 3tb disk... So my question is, is there a way to set a share limit to say 200gb so that my cameras can just record to that pre determinded folder of 200gb? or would I need to run a VM with a vDisk? Thanks Quote Link to comment

To my mind, the last statement doesn't jive with the first two, as you can't format via a network. Quote Link to comment
