Hi!

Today I finished setting up my first unRAID-Server! ;D.

After unRAID will finish setting up the parity drive, I would like to configure my first user share. I'm bit confused about the settings in the dialog (allocation method, split level).

Basically I would like to have one share for my movies. The structure should look like this:

Share name: MOVIES

Share folder: /MOVIES/

/Movie_XYZ/

MOVIE.ISO or

VIDEO_TS

- I don't care on which drive unRAID puts the data. But I don't want a VIDEO_TS-Folder on multiple drives.

Any ideas?

Bye.

Set your split level to 1.

It will allow the "MOVIES" folder to be split over multiple disks, but no folder under it will be split.

Hi!

And the allocation method?

Most free?

Bye.

I'd just use high water.
