Newly added drive issues

I am trying to add a drive, but no matter what drive install, it no longer sees the drive. Now it does nothing.  I looked at the logs and seen this....

Any Ideas what could be going on? I have tried on different ports, I am running a sas controller and onboard Sata. Different ports and different controllers do the same thing...

Thanks in advance...

You should post the full diagnostics, and if you're trying to add it as an unassigned device or to the array.

I got it figured out (I think). But I was trying to add it to the array, but it wasn't showing up at all in the array or unassigned devices..  It showed the drive in preclear but only as _ and showed the size. When I tried to start preclear, it showed the white page with nothing but "unable to start device".

I restarted the server a few times and atleast now it shows the drive in unassigned devices for me to preclear just to make sure the drive is still good.

I know I don't need to do preclear, but I always run atleast 5 runs of erase and clear so if it will fail under pressure (which I have had two new drives and one used drive die during preclear) preclear will push it and die before adding it to the array..

I don't know if it is completly fixed yet, but so far it's picking up different drives. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed..
