AgentXXL Posted June 23, 2019 Share Posted June 23, 2019 (edited) I'm currently waiting on a pre-clear to finish before I migrate my unRAID setup to a brand new USB key prior to purchasing my full unRAID Pro license. Is it possible to stop/cancel the pre-clear during the post-read stage and still leave the signature valid? I'm anxious to get started on the move to a full license, and am upgrading my partity drive from an 8TB to a new 10TB Ironwolf (which was successfully stress-tested/pre-cleared). The drive that's early in the post-read stage is a new 8TB for use as another data drive and reported successful pre-read and zeroing stages, with no sector re-allocation based on SMART. And it looks like the pre-clear signature is written after the drive is zero'ed, according to the status. But if it's better to wait the 12+ hours for the post-read to finish, I will.
