Connection to SMB/Plex lost after some hours, Array still running

Featured Replies

Edit: I didnt format my cache disk, doing so solved the problem.

Hey,

i run 6.7.1. Unraid,  the plugins Community Applications and the addons  (?) plex, Jdownloader 2 and binhex-krusader. The hardware is an ASRocke AB350 Pro4, an AMD Athlon 200GE with Radeon Vega Graphics @ 3200 MHz, 8GB RAM, a SSD and a Disk with 2TB (and soon another one with 2TB as parity disk).

The problem:

i recently build a server and installed unRaid on it. It seems to run fine, the only bigger problem i got is that i lose connection to the SMB/Plex server after some hours of the array being up. I dont know how long it takes exactly for the connection to be lost. The array is still running and i have to restart it to regain connection for another few hours. I do have the syslog but i dont see an option to upload it here?

Well, thanks for reading, maybe somebody can help me? Thanks.

Your cache drive is unmountable. Have you formatted it in Unraid?

Oh, true. Did so now, you think that may have been the problem? (I could swear that i already formatted it once, may it have been "reset" because i changed the name of the server?). Thanks anyways, even if it doesnt solve this problem its certainly important to do.

Edit: Seems like that actually was the reason, so thank you very much.
