kesm
Hi, I'm currently on Unraid 6.7.0, I added a HDD on my tower last week and used the preclear script to add it to my current array. Script was taking a very long time (50% in 7 days for a 8TB drive) and I saw the update for 6.7.2 so I update the OS but after a reboot my drive isn't visible anymore, I can't see it in preclear plugin and the command lsscsi doesn't return it root@Fabrice:/# lsscsi [0:0:0:0] disk Kingston DataTraveler 3.0 PMAP /dev/sda [1:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD30EFRX-68E 0A82 /dev/sdb [2:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD80EZAZ-11T 0A83 /dev/sdc [3:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD80EZAZ-11T 0A83 /dev/sdd [4:0:0:0] disk ATA TS128GMTS400S 6B /dev/sde [5:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD30EFRX-68E 0A80 /dev/sdf [6:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD30EFRX-68E 0A80 /dev/sdg [8:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD30EFRX-68E 0A82 /dev/sdh [9:0:0:0] disk ATA WDC WD30EFRX-68E 0A80 /dev/sdi Drive was on /dev/sdj I guess it's maybe a hardware problem but I don't know where to search Here is a diagnostics file, hope someone can help me. dchamb
Are you using a Marvell controller? I upgraded my system from 6.6.6 to 6.7.0 and two of my array drives went missing. They are attached to a Marvell controller. I reverted back to 6.6.6 and everything was fine. I'm waiting to see if 6.7.2 resolves this problem. Quote Link to comment
kesm
I'm not sure if I use a Marvell Controller, in doubt I downgraded to UnRAID 6.6.6 but still nothing in preclear and SCSI Devices fabrice-diagnostics-20190627-1659.zip Quote Link to comment
testdasi
If you downgraded and still nothing, that suggests something else is wrong with the disks. Have you checked cables? Do the disks feel / sound like they are spinning? Quote Link to comment
kesm
After checking cables it seems to work now after a reboot but preclear is still very slow : logs : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/disk_log on line 25 and in preview I got a lot of tput: unknown terminal "tmux-256color" /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/preclear.disk/script/preclear_disk.sh: line 35: echo: write error: No space left on device I guess these are not normal errors?
