derekos
I have no idea what happened to my unraid. I wanted to upgrade a drive from 2.5tb to 4tb and my speed has dropped to 2.5 mb/s. I have been running unraid many years with relatively slow speeds - 40mbs. But nothing like this. You can see the speed here: https://prnt.sc/o7qwld I've attached my diagnostics. Any help would be appreciated! babel-diagnostics-20190628-0508.zip Edited June 30, 2019 by derekos solved Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Don't see nothing on the logs, though you're running Unraid virtualized, you can try rebooting both Unraid and the host machine, if that doesn't help best bet is to post on the virtualizing Unraid subforum. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
If the speed fluctuates it could also be slow sectors zone(s) on a disk, couple of your disks are good candidates for a few of those, disks 18 and 21, you can try the diskspeed docker, it can sometimes identify those areas if they are big enough. derekos
Just to close this thread out - it turned out to be a bad controller (Marvel). I replaced it with an LSI controller and speed returned to normal. The thread detailing that is here: Quote Link to comment
