I am looking to move from bare metal Windows 10 with snapraid to unraid.  Is it better to run unraid as a dedicated bare metal NAS or is it fully supported running unraid along side a hypervisor?

 

My main use case is Plex

    Since unRAID provides a hypervisor it usually runs on bare metal.  Plex usually runs best as a Docker but can run in a VM.
