I upgraded to 6.7.2 and encountered the issues with OpenVPN. I started the downgrade process, but didn’t reboot so the os is still 6.7.2 As others were using the server. 

I looked into the openvpn and found a solution and tested successfully. 

Is there a way to stop the downgrade process?

Not as such. There are some ways you could work around this but it is probably just as easy to simply reboot and then upgrade again.

You can always replace the bz* files on flash with the ones from v6.7.2, so next reboot will still be on v6.7.2
