Hello,

 

upgraded from 6.7.0 to 6.7.2 and I am experiencing higher than normal disk latency.  a few things have happened since I upgraded.

 

- spin up time of all drives seems to have increased

- Plex (newest build) sometimes media just stops playing

- Kodi on PC (17.6) there is a noticeable longer delay on starting media from a cold Unraid array (spun down)

- I have seen latency in just moving around the directory structure also via SMB shares

- also noticed a GUI delay also, just seems slower

 

any feed back would be great.

BUMP I am seeing slowdowns attributed to IO wait in the order of 80+% to the point the server becomes unusable. Reverting back to 6.7.0 seems to resolved the issue.

Can someone point me to a downgrade guide,

I have never done one.

Under Tools ... Update OS ... There usually is an option to revert to your previous version.

 

I have to give unRaid a big thumbs up for that feature.

Thanks man, already downgraded.   will test and wait for the next "stable" release...
