Docker updates with DNS changes

Featured Replies

Hey All,

I wanted to see if anyone else has hit the same problem. I was looking to setup pihole as a docker on my UnRaid server. I went through all the setup with pihole specifying a specific IP address on my subnet, configured my router (TP-LINK AC1750) to use the specified IP as the DNS server and queries were starting to run through it no problem.

When I logged into my UnRaid server to do some docker updates though that's when things got weird, it would go through the motions of pulling down the update but would always pull 0b and never update. When removing the local pihole IP as the DNS server all returned back to normal.

Any one else experience this? Any idea what I might have missed? Let me know if you need additional info.
