October 27, 201015 yr A good chunk of my media collection is stored as FLAC. Frequently I want to copy these files as MP3 for use on my portable devices. I did some searching and found MP3FS (http://mp3fs.sourceforge.net/) and it looks like it would suit my needs perfectly. Could anyone please point me in the right direction to install this on my unRAID machine? Thanks
August 4, 201114 yr teejay or anyone - did some succeed with installation of mp3fs and can provide some hints or binaries? Cheers, Jens.
November 18, 201114 yr Looking for a package for mp3fs for unRAID as well. This could be very useful for putting my library into iTunes for my iPhone. Thanks!
November 18, 201114 yr I got it working on XBMC and it works well. There's a bunch of support libraries needed for it, so it's not a simple 1 line compile. I plan to try and compile it for unRAID in the upcoming weeks.

Do you have links to the slackware packages for lame and flac? Also needed is libid3tag preferably a link to the slackbuild for this. it should probably be recompiled statically so that there are not too man dependancies. MP3FS is written in C and uses the following libraries: FUSE (>= 2.6.0) FLAC (>= 1.1.4 unless using mp3fs <0.20) LAME libid3tag
January 24, 201214 yr Hey Weebo, any updates? I'm not sure if I can be of much assistance, but slackware packages can be googled easily, i.e. try a search for "slackware lame". Same with flac. Static builds would be ace!
