sn00py
Hello i have changed the share appdata to read/write, but i can't modify it. I would like to edit some of the config files of my docker settings with my windows 10 notebook. How can i do this? Quote Link to comment
Squid
Files within the appdata share have their own unique permission requirements dictated by the app itself, which may or may not be compatible with SMB over the network. You *can* run the new permissions tool against the appdata share, but since that resets the permissions, the app(s) may (or may not) have problems with the new permissions. Safest method to do this is either through the command prompt (nano) or install the CA Config File Editor plugin and use it. Quote Link to comment
sn00py
Hmm yes it works but it is not so comfortable I would like to edit it with Notepad++ or Ultraedit Both have support for FTP - is this a possibility? Quote Link to comment
