I have two movies folders over one movies share.

One drive is almost full - 37GB left.

Can I fill it ?

Do I need to leave a certain amount of disk free for any reason ?

    No you can just let it fill up. Unraid will write a file to the next disk if the file is larger than the space left.

    If there is file system corruption for any reason, or there is a filesystem update that needs more space for metadata, it can be advantageous to have a small amount of slack space to allow for maintenance. I recommend keeping some percent free, up to you how much that is. Personally I keep at least 1% or so.
