vw-kombi
I have two movies folders over one movies share. One drive is almost full - 37GB left. Can I fill it ? Do I need to leave a certain amount of disk free for any reason ? Quote Link to comment
Fenix
No you can just let it fill up. Unraid will write a file to the next disk if the file is larger than the space left. Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
If there is file system corruption for any reason, or there is a filesystem update that needs more space for metadata, it can be advantageous to have a small amount of slack space to allow for maintenance. I recommend keeping some percent free, up to you how much that is. Personally I keep at least 1% or so. Quote Link to comment
