NY152
Hello, I have this error for a few days when I try to rename a folder. All my shares are read-only. What I did: I have just started a parity check, no mistakes at the moment but it is far from over (~ 5 hours). I tried to make the rights corrections with "new permission" but my all shares is unprotected and accessible to everybody, very badly that. This did not correct this error. What should I check? Thank you for your help. Edited July 13, 2019 by NY152 Add screenshot Quote Link to comment

mgutt
I had the same error today while trying to delete a specific folder after restarting the array (which restarts samba). Finally I solved it by creating a new folder in the same share. Not sure why this solved it, but it worked 🤷♂️ (checked permissions, even ACLs, but they were correct). Quote Link to comment
