Steves1990 Posted July 14, 2019 Share Posted July 14, 2019 Hi all, i am desperate i have been trying to get mij unraid array to work for 4 days but no luck if i turned on cache and i transfer files its okay but then when the mover starts is painfully slow like 1 gb in a hour or so , then i tried disabling my cache and then it when i transfer a file it goes for like 60Mbps for a few minutes and than all the way down to like 300kbs or 0kbs what am i doing wrong ? parity is not ready still rebuilding maybe is this the problem? please help also when i try to reboot or shutdown it wont it says sending signal to kill but no respone. norcoxserver-syslog-20190714-1356.zip Quote Link to comment

JorgeB Posted July 15, 2019 Share Posted July 15, 2019 Those controllers are just a 2 port SATA controller with two SATA port multipliers, besides the inherent low performance they usually cause ATA timeouts that make things even worse, definitely not recommended for Unraid. Quote Link to comment
