October 27, 201015 yr My server has been up for a couple of weeks now and things are going well so far. I have a few things that I would like to accomplish. 1. Choose and install a cache drive 2. Have a drive ready to go in case an existing drive fails 3. Eventually install sabnzbd, sickbeard, and mysql It seems popular to install sabnzbd and sickbeard on the cache drive. If I do that should I partition the hard drive first? Should mysql go on a data drive or the cache drive? If I put these programs on the cache drive, what are my options for having a drive ready to go in case one fails? If I have a user share called movies, will data still get cached if I write to \\tower\disk1\movies instead of \\tower\movies?
