Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to reformat a disc that’s encrypted or at least to remove the encryption. I want to have my array auto start which is why I am trying to do this and only one drive is encrypted. I have removed all the data and have it set as an unassigned device. I am using version 6.7.0

I don't use encryption, but can't you do this with the disk assigned, and just set the filesystem type to be xfs, instead of xfs luks?

I have already set that as the file system type but it won’t change it unless I can find a way to format the disc. Thanks for your reply.

If it doesnt pop up with the format, change it to btrfs   then format, then change it to xfs and format again
