Can't Get past Logon screen on new uNRAID install

Featured Replies

Hello.  I am a new user to uNRAID, and have downloaded the newest version and used the Windows USB creator to make the bootable USB drive.

I've made appropriate setting changes in my system BIOS, and can get the server to boot the USB drive but it hangs at the Username and Password prompt.

I am using a Dell R710 dual Xeon server with 24Gb RAM and trying to boot the GUI setup option in the boot menu.  Leaving the Username blank and hitting enter does nothing, it does not move to the Password prompt.  I just can't get past the logon screen (Username) regardless of what I type into it.

Any suggestions on how to move past this issue?  Thanks

Type root in as the user name. Password is blank but you can go into settings and change it once you are in.

That did the trick.  I appreciate it!

Might be worth noting that you don't actually need to login to the command line. Unraid is managed from its webUI, which you can access from any web browser on your network.
