sonofdbn
Has anyone successfully installed a GoogleHomeKodi (henceforth GHK) docker? GHK is a way to control Kodi using Google Home, and one component is having a GHK docker (there are alternatives to this component). I found the docker on DockerHub via community applications, but it doesn't come with any template. I fiddled around trying to add parameters manually, but it's way above my level of inexpertise. I did find a template (by @CHBMB) but don't know how to use that with the docker installation. While I could play around a bit more, I thought I'd ask here first, hoping this will save me a lot of time. Quote Link to comment
Tjlejeune
Never tried that docker but you can use tasker yatse and ifttt to control Kodi with a Google home Quote Link to comment
sonofdbn
Yes, I know there are actually quite a few alternatives, but this one seems suitable for my use case. Quote Link to comment
Yousty
Did you ever get this figured out sonofdbn? I would like to set it up as well but not sure where to begin. Quote Link to comment
Yousty
I actually figured out how to do it on my own and it's super easy. Figured I'd post the solution here in case anyone else finds this thread via googling like I did. I'm assuming everyone is following the guide on OmerTu's github and you're at step B.3. Just create a new docker container and add the following port and variables to it. Quote Link to comment
