July 21, 20196 yr Hello, I going to build a new server and want to slowly move hdd over to new server while keeping old one running. I know the licence is based on the old flash drive. When my new build is ready, can I which licence to new flash drive or how do i get the new setup to my old flash drive? greetings Pieter
July 21, 20196 yr Community Expert In order to have 2 servers running, you will have to have 2 licenses, so I don't really understand what you have in mind with transferring a license.
July 21, 20196 yr Community Expert If you want to use a trial license on the new server until you get the data transferred, then when you are finished and are ready to decommission the old server: Make a backup of your old flash license .key file (in the config folder) Replace the config folder from the new flash to your old flash Restore the old flash license .key file
