Control Fan Speed Dell R520 Server

Hi,

 

I want to control fan speed for Dell r520 server. I installed Dyamix plugin but it only detects CPU temperature. I installed IPMI tools. They detect all temperature's but no way to control fans in it. In Dynamics Fan plugin it doesn't detect PWM controller or PWM fan. Anyone has done it before? I tried it on Dell r420 with trial key same problem. Not sure what should i do. Now my fans are running at around 6800 RPM wish they would be bit slow as they are little loud.

    gonna necro this to ask: did you ever find a solution? 

     

    Does your IPMItool detect exhaust temperature? or just intake and CPU temps?
