Hey guys,

 

I upgraded my server to an i9-9900k and a RTX 2080. I want to passthrough the GPU to a Windows VM. Now it actually worked, only issue is that I cannot seem to play any video, though the latest drivers are installed. Do I need to add a vbios to make it work? I didn't fully get if that is always mandatory and it worked for me without it anyway. Games also play fine, its just videos like youtube dont seem to work.

 

Or do I only need a vbios if let's say my CPU wouldnt have an integrated GPU and therefore I would passthrough my main gpu?
