Unable to Delete Share (Testing UnRaid 5.0Beta2)

Featured Replies

I created a Share (DATA) for testing purposes on UnRaid 5.0Beta2. I have not been able to delete the share no matter what I do...

Any suggestions or is this a bug.

It is a testing server so any option is counted in...

Thanks...  :P

At the linux command line

invoke

mc

use "mc" to remove the "share" directory under /mnt/user

then remove the /boot/config/shares/sharename.cfg file

then stop the array and reboot.

Thank You... It worked like a charm...

If you have the time, why is it that this happened... I could create a new share and delete it but this specific one would simply not budge...!

Thanks in advance...  :D

no idea... Did the name contain any spaces or characters other than alpha?

No... the volume name was simply...: "DATA" (no quotes)...

It makes no sense to me and I bet even more to you... but if it gets to complicated... don't worry... you already helped me fixing it...

Thanks...

And the share was empty?

At first, it was... later, I thought that would be the reason and deleted all of it... Even then, I could not delete the "share".
