How to "reset" the network Settings ?? - Network Bridge doesn't work for Dockers

Featured Replies

Hi, I replace my Intel-based system from 2014 to a new X570 + Ryzen 9 3900x system.  I first tested on a new install of Unraid on a separate USB key on the Ryzen system, added a GTX 1080ti card, tested PLEX docker with passthrough.  Everything was working fine.   Then, yesterday I decided after a week and a half that it was time to transplant the new motherboard/cpu/ram combo into my server chassis.  I obviously re-use the real USB key with my Unraid License on it.   Everything booted fine.  The first issue was that the fixed IP wasn't replying to SSH, Ping or WebGUI.  So, I rebooted with Local GUI.  I put the NIC card to DHCP and it got a new IP.  That part worked.

The issue was when it tried to started all dockers that where set to Network="bridge".  they all said a weird error about the interface not existing.   The only way to start the dockers were to set them to "host" (when there is no port number conflict) or select custom: br0 and specify a unique IP per docker!

At this point, I don't know what is wrong with the network stack...  I have 2 NIC, but I can disable one if it make it more stable.

What files should I add here so I can get help from a Network Expert in Unraid ? :)
