Is there any way to auto delete files?

I am currently switching to Unraid from Windows 10

I am going to be using SABnzbd in a container, on Windows when downloads fail or don't extract properly SAB doesn't do a very good job of cleaning up the failed files.

Some weeks I can have 100s of GBs of junk, I have a Windows app currently that cleans out the temp/downloads for files older than 15 days.

I also I have sports shows, which the app auto deletes after 30 days (whether I've watched it or not)

Is there a way to achieve the same in Unraid?

Making a Windows VM just to handle this seems like overkill...

Install CA User Script plugin and write a bash script. It can seem daunting at first but once you get a hang of it, you can write all sort of scripts to do all sort of things - it's basically just like a DOS / Windows batch file.

Ah, that's great thank you, i have written some scripts in batch, autohotkey and a little python, so i guess it's just a case of using the correct syntax
