FML ... one of my cache drives died. Brought it back to life and rebuilt the cache pool — it asked if it was ok to format the disk and I said yes (assuming that the cache pool implies that data is redundant and stored on the other surviving cache drive)... and now all my dockers are gone!

is there anything I can do to restore my server to its former glory? Or do I have to start from fresh? I know all my array data and plugins are fine but I anything to do with dockers and their setup is dead. Help?

This would delete all cache data, if you don't have a backup you need to start over, format is never a part of recovering a data or cache disk.

Really good Squid Plugin to install for you going forward.

A Cache Pool is good redundancy but a backup is always better.

I spent the night with spaceinvader one rebuilding what I could — mostly back up and running but still have some issues with a few dockers here and there.
