October 29, 201015 yr Hello everyone, I am a happy unraid user since early this year, but today i ran into a slight problem. Today i switched from a DSL line to a fiber line, but unraid had a static local network IP and i forgot to change it to a dynamic one before the internet got changed, so i can't connect to the webgui. I hooked up a monitor and keyboard to the server and booted it up but i lack the linux knowledge to invoke the proper commands so i can change the static IP to a dynamic IP and re-integrate it into the local network. My question is, how do i change this without changing the rest of the configuration or damaging the array. I'm not sure if additional information is required, but i am using a pre-build tower (MD-1510/LI) ordered from limetech. Daan

Edit the /boot/config/network.cfg file and change the IP address within it. Then type /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 restart
November 8, 201015 yr I posted elsewhere about the unmenu screw up. I just logged in to my server on console and the boot directory is empy! ?!
November 8, 201015 yr Forget it I messed up. I hit control C during the boot up process and screwed up the install! Learn something new everyday! Rebooted and all is happy. Neil
