Hello,

I am trying to format an unassigned device to something encrypted preferably BTRFS, unfortunately the Unassigned Devices GUI doesn't specify (and I think its the unencrypted version). Does anyone know any bash commands I could use to manually format this drive.

solved it, just encrypt drive as btrfs and use LUKS and cryptsetup todo a software layer encryption (just as secure)
