July 30, 20196 yr I accidentally had a media share set to use the cache drive - that's now at capacity. I changed the setting for the share to not use the cache drive but looks like the data is being moved. Is there no rebalancing option that would move the data off of the cache drive?
July 30, 20196 yr Author You have to set it to cache: Yes? That's not just for storing data too? Or I temporarily set it to yes to move the data off of it and then use mover?
July 30, 20196 yr Community Expert Cache setting controls two things: Where new files are to be placed what action mover should take (if any) when it runs You need to set the share to Use Cache=Yes and the run mover to get files moved from cache to array. When mover finishes you need to set Use Cache to the setting (if different) you want to end up with. Turning on the help in the GUI might help you with selecting the option you want to end up with.
