GPU Passthrough Ryzen 3000

Featured Replies

Can anyone confirm if they have successfully passed a GPU through on any of the new x570 boards with a ryzen 3000?

Hoping the bug solely exists on patched 4 or 3 series boards?

Think yours might be a slightly different issue, on the updated bios on my x370 you get 2 errors, device stuck in d2 power or PCI error 127, its a known vfio error but not sure if it affects the x570 stuff or just the patched x370/470

For yours you might find success if you fully exclude the device as a boot parameter, have you tried that yet?

On main, click flash and then edit the unraid OS section

Add this line in:

vfio-pci.ids=10de:1b06,10de:10ef

Though thats my 1080ti GPU & sound card, you'll need to use all IDs of the same iommu group, you can get your PCI id for your RTX on tools > system devices page

Hope that helps

Apparently theres a kernel fix which sovles my issue, curious if this is included in 6.7.3-rc1?

Yeah i had tried vfio-pci.ids before and just tried again for the heck of it, same as last time i get the system hang on boot, see screenshot belowIMG_20190801_150357.thumb.jpg.20a85a310febe76dfe9ca7f6ea1bd915.jpg

0000:2d:00.0 is the RTX 2080 Super, note i have included all the devices in vfio-pci.ids the display, audio, usb and usb controller on the card
